Cheap Eats and Yummy Sweets!

A Traveling Story!
I was traveling recently. This time to Poland. It’s a great destination because everything costs way less there. For example, one scoop of amazing, gourmet ice cream is equivalent to $1.25 US.
The day after I returned home, I rang out a customer. When he heard the total, he said, “Wow! This is so cheap!”
You may never make it to Poland to experience cheap living, so stop by The Country Cupboard. It’s a lot closer! Plus you won’t have to gesture to get what you want.
Another way to experience Poland is to eat dill. Use it on your potatoes or as you make pickles. We stock it and other herbs and spices here.

No-Bake Cacao Brownie Batter Bites

I love bites. Great for a little snack, for traveling, for kids, for hiking. You’d better double this recipe. They don’t last long.
  • 1/2 c. hemp seeds*
  • 2 T. cacao powder*
  • 2 T. dried fruit (raisins, currents or blueberries)*
  • 1 T. raw honey*
  • 1 T. coconut oil*
  • 1/2 t. vanilla*
*Ingredients available at The Country Cupboard
  1. In a food processor, blend all ingredients. Shape batter into balls. Wet hands, if needed, to help balls stick together.
  2. Refrigerate or freeze for up to 2 weeks.
