It’s Beginning to ________ A Lot Like Christmas!

Gift Idea #2 - Essential Oil Diffusers

It’s beginning to …

LOOK: It is the most wonderful time of the year when you see happy faces buying special, yummy, red-and-green colored gifts for others. A picture is worth 1000 words, but seeing this Gingerbread House in person is way better! The lights are on (even if no one is home). Stop in to peek soon!
FEEL: We try hard, but the cold air still sneaks in. There’s something about the chill though that indicates Christmas (you don’t get that in Florida). Regardless, we have warm hearts.
SMELL: Our essential oil diffuser is wafting scents of Wild Orange, Cinnamon, Clove and Fir. Get a bottle of Holiday Joy for your house.
TASTE: We’d admit. We sneak little tastes of the season every now and then. That’s okay. It’s just a reminder that no matter what you pick – you won’t be disappointed.
…a lot like Christmas here!

Loose tea has way more flavor than tea in a bag. Plus it’s much more cost effective. Fruity herbal or flavored black tea – both are perfect for this weather.

Milk chocolate, dark or white. Candy and treat making is much easier with these.

Gift Idea #2 – Diffusers & Essential Oils

If you’re wondering what to buy someone for Christmas this year, my guess is an essential oil diffuser is on the list. I’ve heard so many people say they want another one.
Duckies, Piggies, 4-hour, 10-hour, Colored-changing lights, etc. We have the diffuser you are looking for.

Hot Chocolate on a Stick

35 minutes | 6 sticks
This is a fun, easy, cute gift for others.
1 c. of melting chocolates or chocolate chips*
3 T. powdered sugar *
8 drops flavoring oil (optional) or 1 drop of essential oil*
6 popsicle sticks
Toppings (crushed candy canes, chocolate cookie crumbs, chocolate chips, or sprinkles)*
*Ingredient available at The Country Cupboard
Melt chocolates in microwave at 30 second intervals until smooth or with a double boiler.
Add flavoring oil (orange, peppermint, lavender are best).
Stir in powdered sugar. Mix until smooth.
Spoon mixture into a mini muffin pan or ice cube tray, filling each cup about halfway. Add a popsicle stick and top with crushed candy canes, chocolate cookie crumbs, chocolate chips, or sprinkles!
Freeze until hard, about 20 minutes. Gently pop out of tray. (A silicone mini muffin tray would make it even easier!) Just tap gently on the counter a few times to loosen up.
To eat: Stir one stick into a cup of hot milk until melted. It may not seem like a lot of chocolate, but it is plenty for a nice rich cup of hot chocolate! SO delicious.
