Not Well? Get Well! Then Stay Well! We’ll Help!

I’ve learned a lot about fiber recently – how we need more of it (daily recommendations are 30-50 g.) and how amazing it is for a healthy digestive system.
Fiber can help you lose weight, lower your cholesterol (which may help reduce heart disease), reduce your appetite and lower your blood sugar  (as much as some diabetes medications). It may also help reduce the risk of cancer. What was remarkable is the most effective fiber source is Glucomannan! Gluccie (as it is nicknamed) is available here as a Trim Healthy Mama Product.
*How to use: mix with water and drink before a meal OR use as a substitute for cornstarch to thicken
Other good fiber sources:
*Ground flax seeds, (2 T. a day)
*Legumes (lentils, black beans, etc.)
*Veggies & Fruits
*Grains such a brown rice & quinoa
*Nuts (several handfuls per day)
So you can see here, Core Nutrition is the basis of good health.
