It's Time to Order Fall Apples
Hi! My name’s Peachie! I’m round, orange and yellow sanded with sugar. You may know me as Peach Ring. I’m here to share my story!
Today I arrived at The Country Cupboard. They dumped me from a plastic bag into this white container. (See Pic 1).
Some big hand shoved me into a little bag. They twisted the plastic bag and jammed it into a machine to tie it shut. (See Pic 2).
Next I went airborne and landed on top of the scale. Scandalous! The label printed out with my weight on it!! (See Pic 3).
That was a rough few minutes. Now I’m happily sleeping on the shelf, waiting for you to come along and pick me up.
I’m not sure what will happen next in my life, but I’m sure it will be exciting!
By the way, have you met my relatives? We’re from the same blood, just have a different skin color and shape.

Pumpkin Pie Pepitas

1 c. pepitas (shelled pumpkin seeds)*
2 t. maple syrup*
1 t. pumpkin pie spice *
¼ t. sea salt*

1. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees.
2. Toss all of the ingredients together until the seeds are fully coated.
3. Turn them out onto a lined cookie sheet and bake, in a single layer, for 8 minutes.
4. Let cool, then store in an airtight container at room temperature.
