Some people live “in the sticks”; some people don’t.  Some like it; some don’t. Some people eat sticks …  And I don’t mean carrot sticks. I mean sesame sticks. And some don’t. But it’s a very, very, very little “some” who don’t eat them.
These little sticks are so popular for snacking, snack mixes and salads. They are so well loved for salads at our house before the salad is passed they are pretty much devoured. So maybe that means they aren’t so loved for salads. They are just loved plain. However you love them, try our two new varieties of (Sesame) Sticks:  Maple & Bacon  (smoky with a hint of sweetness) + Roasted Red Pepper (a delightfully snacky red bell pepper).

Blueberry Cheddar French Toast

Makes 2 sandwiches
Ready in 20 minutes
A unique twist combining love for French Toast and Grilled Cheese Sandwiches!
 2 large eggs*
1 cup heavy cream
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon*
1 tablespoon granulated sugar*
1 teaspoon vanilla extract*
4 slices of sandwich bread*
1/2 pound of Blueberry Cheddar Cheese, sliced*
2 tablespoons unsalted butter
1/2 cup frozen or fresh blueberries
1/4 cup maple syrup*
1. Whisk together the eggs, heavy cream, cinnamon, sugar, and vanilla. Set aside and prepare sandwiches.
2. Put together sandwiches with just bread and as much cheese as you like. Cut the crusts off.
3. Heat a skillet with butter and gently dip the sandwiches in the french toast batter. Make sure to coat both sides. Drop into hot skillet and let sear on both sides. Keep warm in the oven until it is time to serve.
4. To serve, simmer blueberries and maple syrup in a saucepan for 15 minutes until reduced. Drizzle over warm french toast and enjoy!
