Salted Caramel Chocolate Chip Cookies
Makes 3 dozen
Salt, caramel and chocolate – YUM!
3 c flour
1 t baking powder
1/2 t baking soda
1/4 t fine salt
1 cup light brown sugar
1/2 c sugar
2 sticks butter, softened
2 large eggs
1 1/2 t vanilla extract
3/4 cups mini chocolate chips
1 cup caramel bits
1 1/2 teaspoons sea salt

Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F; line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
Whisk the dry ingredients together. Beat sugars and butter together in a large bowl until light and fluffy, 3 minutes. Add the eggs; beat. Add the vanilla. Add flour mixture and beat until incorporated. Stir in the chocolate chips and caramel bits. Scoop dough onto baking sheets. Sprinkle each cookie with a pinch of sea salt. Bake until golden brown – 13 minutes.
