Little Scoops of News

We have a lot of new items including buckwheat flour, arrowroot powder, amaranth grain, rye flour, and barley. Browse through our two new cookbooks – one for our gluten-free friends and one for those busy cooks who would love a pre-planned monthly menu and shopping list. Check out our new, delectable individually wrapped chocolates. Purchase 1, 2 or a whole pound. Our Christmas candy is out and it looks so festive! Try our red, white and green malt balls or gummi bears. We have fudge too and it’s delightful!

Oreo Truffles
36 Oreo cookies, crushed
1 8oz. pkg cream cheese, softened
16 oz. milk, dark or white chocolate coating discs/wafers, melted (all available at The Country Cupboard)
Holiday sprinkles
Mix crushed cookies and cream cheese together. Roll into 48 1 inch balls. Dip into chocolate and place onto wax paper. Sprinkle with sprinkles. Refrigerate one hour or until firm. Say scrummy! (That’s our word for yummy and scrumptious!)
We think it would be fun to try our yogurt coated pretzels, our lemon creme cookies or our new mint chocolate cookie pieces in place of the Oreos.
