First the good news, stop by daily for coffee and breakfast rolls. Maybe I am biased, but I think our caramel rolls are fantastic. Eat in and take it to go. Also more good news for the lemon chip cookie lovers, we’re getting more lemon chips in on Tuesday. But now for the sad news, we can only get 15 pounds, so once they’re gone, they’re gone. At least for now. Apparently the company has decided to stop making them for a while. So when we get more in – we’ll let you know. (Sorry, we’re sad too. We loved those cookies!)

Rice Krispie Treat Pancakes with Marshmallow Butter (click for photo)
4 large pancakes
1 c. of pancake mix (available at The Country Cupboard)
1 1/2 c. rice krispies cereal
1 T. butter (available at The Country Cupboard)
1 1/3 t. corn syrup
In a medium bowl, mix 1 c. pancake mix according to package directions (adding egg and water as recipe states). Gently stir in the rice krispies, it will be thick. Griddle up those pancakes like normal.
In a microwave safe bowl, or double boiler, melt the marshmallows, syrup and butter together, stir until smooth! Then drizzle those pancake treats, garnish with mini mini marshmallows, dig in and say yum!
Try adding rice krispies to your own pancake batter recipe. For gluten-free, add rice krispies to your GF batter or use a gluten free pancake mix.
